New Sound Clips From Neil's Next Solo Album:
A note from Neil:
Hi everyone! I hope this message finds you well. It's been a while since there was an update on the album. I have been very busy with many things including writing and recording a lot of solo material, along with co-writing and playing guitar on other projects, and teaching here in L.A., so my plate is definitely full these days! I wanted to let you know that there are now sound clips of seven new tracks off of my upcoming album on the site. You can listen to them at the Music page. You can also hear four of the new tracks streaming at MySpace and ReverbNation (including one demo). Some of the new song titles include "When The Days Were Young," "The Sleeper," "Brave New World," "And The Sun Goes Down...," "Wild Seed," and "Midnight Function" among others. The album has a few working titles at the moment, but nothing final yet. Over the past few years, I have been venturing with my songwriting into more of the styles that I love, including Blues, Rock, Classical, Jazz, Funk, and various Latin styles. I believe the songs reflect this with their varied moods and tones, and hopefully reflect my travels and experiences over that time as well. I hope you enjoy the new sounds so far. Please stay tuned for more about the album, and thank you for your ongoing support!
Warm wishes, -NR

Neil Produces Rivera Bomma's Latest Album:
The Hard Rock / Melodic Rock group Rivera Bomma has just released their second full-length album titled I Am God on Mausoleum Records in Belgium. It is being distributed throughout Europe and Japan, and for the U.S. it will be carried exclusively online at The End Records. The album was produced by Neil, who also performed all keyboards throughout, as well as bass guitar on the Flamenco number "La Voz De Mi Guitarra", and additional percussion and backing vocals on several of the songs. The orchestral arrangements, some percussion programming, and additional mixing were also done by Neil, and he had the pleasure of producing it and co-recording it with engineers (most notably) Eric Rachel (Skid Row, Symphony X, Hatebreed) and Don Sternecker (Seven Witches, Russell Allen, Symphony X). Musically, this album is a well-crafted masterpiece with a sound that is epic, and at times progressive and quite diverse. Neil also performed some Flamenco guitar among other parts in a duet solo with Rod Rivera on the B-side "In My Dreams". The song does not appear on this version of the album; however, you can listen to a clip of it at the Music page! To order the album, click here.
